Did you know all children learn through play? Do you want to get out of the house and connect with other parents/caregivers? This group is for parents/caregivers and their children 0-4 years who like to get messy, use their imaginations, and explore the world around them. It is a child-led play program that requires parent/caregiver engagement. While you have the chance to connect with other parents/caregivers, your child will also be able to connect with peers in a variety of interactive activities. During these 4-week sessions, a Parent Mentor will be on hand to provide weekly parenting topics, provide information on upcoming community programs and events, answer your questions about your child’s behaviour and development, as well as direct you to other services you are wanting. This program is offered in collaboration with the Town of Irricana.
To ensure as many families can play as possible, families may be asked to participate in the program once every 3 months.
