Travelling Tales and Tunes (North Rocky View)

Description:

Does your child love songs, rhymes, and stories?  This 4-week group is for parents/caregivers and children ages 0-5 years.  Each week there will be new stories, songs, and a topic-based activity.  Each family will receive a kit of activities to play along with the Facilitator.  We will discuss the importance of early literacy, language, and a variety of parenting topics to promote healthy child development. As a result of this group, your family will have a stronger understanding of how to support school readiness and your child’s development.  This program is offered in collaboration with Rocky View Schools Adult Learning and the Public Libraries in Beiseker and Irricana.  Rural residents with Marigold Library Memberships may access either the Airdrie or Rural Travelling Tales and Tunes.

Age range:  Parents/caregivers and children 0-5 years.

Dates: Wednesdays, May5-26, 2021

Time: 10:00am-11:30am
