Description:

Are you interested in learning to communicate with your baby using sign language? If you have a baby between 6-18 months and are frustrated by not knowing what your baby is trying to tell you, then this program can help. Bring your baby to this interactive 5-week program. Classes include Baby Signs© activities, singing, and signs as well as parenting information and resources. Discover how babies who use sign language are often happier and less frustrated, they may learn to talk sooner, get a long-lasting boost in their intellectual development.

Age range: For parents/caregivers and children 6-18 months.

Dates: Wednesdays, May 12-June 9, 2021

Time: 10:00am-11:00am

Registration deadline: May 5, 2021

Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ’s) are free developmental screenings that offer insight into your child’s gross motor, fine motor, communication, problem-solving, and social emotional skills. Every Ages & Stages Questionnaire that you submit is reviewed by a Parent Mentor who will provide you with an overview of your child’s results. You will also be provided with a list of age-appropriate activities that are fun and easy to do at home. A Parent Mentor can help you with any questions or concerns that you may have and provide additional resources and referrals.
