Our Focus, Our Mission

Our focus on the health and wellness of the community will be strengthened by providing “One Location” where individuals and families can continue to receive support and resources.

Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families, and communities of North Rocky View by providing them with and connecting them to services, supports, and resources. In order to accomplish this, Community Links is planning to raise an estimated $928,000 this year through a dedicated fundraising campaign. We estimate that our cost to raise these funds will be $30,000.

How We Help

Here’s an example of how we are helping your community.

A family who moved to Airdrie after spending 20 years in their last neighbourhood found the transition to Airdrie difficult because they did not have any neighbours close by and were unsure of existing activities for their children and making new friends were not as easy as they had hoped. The mom expressed how she had ‘hit the information jackpot!” about the community, education on early childhood development, parenting strategies, workshops, playgroups and, so many other incredible services for everyone and anyone’s needs in the community as outlined in the Community Links Connecting Program and Services Guide. The family attended the Parent Link and You (P.L.A.Y.) Drop-in Program and voiced how impressed she was with the interactive play centers and knowledgeable Parent Coaches.
