Volunteer Opportunities

Do you wish to gain work experience and build your resume?

These are the current Volunteer Opportunities:

Snow Angels – Do you love winter, the crisp fresh air and rosy cheeks? We are looking for individuals/groups interested in becoming Snow Angels – a kind, caring community member/group who will help an elderly or disabled person keep their sidewalk and property clear of snow.

Provide volunteer child care for children age 0 – 5. (Parents are attending education sessions in the same facility)

  •  Airdrie – last Thursday of the month, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
  • Irricana – 2nd Thursday of the month, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
  • Crossfield – 3rd Thursday of the month, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Senior Transportation (compensation provided based on available funding)

Special Events – provide a variety of services to Community Links to assist with special events and projects, i.e. committee work, delivering programs and services guides, picking up donated items from local businesses, assisting at fundraising events, parades, community events, etc…

Home Services Volunteer – is a matching process by which a volunteer is assigned to do minor home maintenance, snow removal and yard work as requested by a client.
